Truman Lake and Dam is known for its great fishing, beautiful lake scenery, and many campgrounds.  A wonderful place for summer vacation fun.  From bass, crappie, and spoonbill fishing in the spring, kayaking, water skiing, and just relaxing on your boat, you will find a peaceful, friendly atmosphere.   A swimming area is found in the Harry S. Truman State Park and as well as hiking trails.  This area is also known for its great hunting from deer, turkey, waterfowl, bear and elk.
